The aim of Eco-Friendly-Yourself is to help you protect and heal the planet, the animals and yourself
We can do this by finding eco-friendly, cost-effective and healthy alternatives to the everyday items you buy. If you want to live a sustainable and healthy life, you can rely on us to recommend brands which fit this ethos.
We recommend products sourced from all over the world with ethical credentials in most of the following areas:
- Ethically Sourced
- Locally Sourced
- Eco-friendly (sustainable, biodegradable, recycled)
- Vegan (except beeswax)
- Sustainably packaged/delivered
- Healthy for mind and soul
Thoughtful purchases in thoughtful packaging can quickly amount to a whole world of goodness. Do as little harm to the environment and as much good to your body and mind as possible. That’s what we say.
Eco-Friendly-Yourself and ethical consumption
Most people think there is too much plastic in their lives, They believe we should recycle more and also develop new materials to replace plastic. The one solution that could prevent further environmental damage is ethical consumption. Ethical consumption means that you purchase only what you need, that has been paid for fairly and has been made to last. It means you only buy what has been produced sustainably without hurting people, animals or the earth. If you don’t need it, or it won’t make you immensely happy, don’t buy it.
Amazon Services and waste reduction
Eco-Friendly-Yourself participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, a programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn revenue by advertising and linking to www.amazon.co.uk
Wherever possible, we only recommend suppliers who upon request from you, will deliver items with eco-friendly packaging.
Amazon continues to pursue waste reduction initiatives – e-commerce ready packaging and Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging – to promote 100% recyclable packaging and to ship products in their own packages without additional shipping boxes. Amazon’s sustainable packaging innovations have eliminated 181,000 tons of packaging material and have also avoided 307 million shipping boxes.
